The Introduction to Bioinformatics course is held twice a year. The next session of the course will be Mon 5 - Fri 9 July 2010. The course has both lectures and supervised on-line practicals covering the following topics:

  • Protein Sequence and structure analysis
  • High-throughput technologies and microarray analysis
  • Genomics and molecular evolution

Registration

Please note that the course is funded by UCL Graduate School who have 20 places allocated. Priority is given to members of UCL, Birkbeck and affiliated institutions for the remaining 10 places.

UCL Graduate School attendees
Attendees registering for places through the UCL Graduate School Skills Development Programme should do so directly on the UCL Graduate School website.

Other attendees
All others interested in attending the course are asked to complete a registration form and return it by email to the BCB administrator (admin@bcb.lon.ac.uk).The course is free for academic attendees. Non-academics and industrial researchers may attend the course at a cost of £500 per person.
